Parents—Do you want to learn
what apps are unsafe (and others you should encourage your kids to use)? Do you
want to learn more about how your student can use online tools to impress
future employers and colleges?
The Coeur d’Alene School District is pleased to host social media speaker and author Josh Ochs on Wednesday, March 9th at 6:30 PM in the Library at Coeur d'Alene High School to answer some of these questions and more.
Josh will bring our parents and community members up to speed on the latest apps and how to talk with your kids about using digital tools to “shine” online. He will also teach our parents how social media can be used to impress colleges and future employers and how we can help keep our student body safe. Josh will give parents a proactive way to dialogue with their kids about being smart on social media. The first 25 attendees will receive a free copy of Josh’s book “Light, Bright and Polite.”
CHS is located at 5530 N 4th St, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815. Parents can park in the student lot off of 4th St. (near the athletic fields) and enter through the doors next to the gym. Follow the signs to the library.
